With the frequently changing international travel rules and regulations emerging, we ask that clubs thoroughly risk assess any trip using Swim England guidance, along with the guidance of the visiting nation, and ensure that its members are fully aware of the risks involved, including quarantine restrictions.
Following consultation with Swim England we must stress that any club taking swimmers abroad at this time contrary to government and commonwealth advice would not be covered by Swim England insurance. The club will require travel insurance in addition to SE insurance cover. Any questions relating to Swim England insurance should be addressed to Howdens, the insurance brokers. Before making any decisions we recommend clubs consult the Swim England Guidance and the International Permit FAQ
