Cheshire have decided to recognise and celebrate the hard work and time our members have put in to keep our clubs going during lockdown with a set of awards. These awards will celebrate the incredible spirit of our aquatic community especially evident during the challenging period of the pandemic and they will showcase an individuals contribution around the themes of inspiration and innovation.
Nominations
Now is the time to nominate.
A nomination may recognise creativity and innovation by an individual where innovative or engaging activity kept the aquatic community motivated and engaged during the challenging times. This could be an activity in the water or on dry land during the lockdown periods which incorporated an innovative approach to continue delivering technical and practical aspects of our sports and wellbeing of our members within the restrictions imposed as a result of COVID-19.
A nomination may recognise a creative approach taken to engage our members across the aquatic community. This could be a virtual quiz, parties, campaigns, fundraising activity and more, which ensured continued member support.
Please submit you nomination of no more than 250 words to Carol Hughes, Secretary Cheshire County Swimming and Water Polo Association – secretary@swimcheshire.org
Nominations are open until 22nd October 2021
